一、 How we collect and use your personal information

During the use of various QUILLINK APP features, you may need to provide your personal information. We collect your personal information based on the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity, primarily for the better use of QUILLINK APP services.

 

We obtain your information through the following means:

- Information provided by you when registering an account or using QUILLINK APP services;

- When you log in using a third-party account, you authorize us to obtain the public information registered on the third-party platform (nickname, avatar, and other information authorized by you).

 

Purpose and Scope of Personal Information Collection

When you register and log in using a phone number or email, we need to access your device's call permissions, collect your phone number, email, login password, avatar, nickname, etc., to assist you in completing the registration. You can also fill in gender, birthday, and personal introduction according to your own needs to complete your information.

 

You can also log in and use it directly by authorizing us to obtain the public information registered on the third-party platform (nickname, avatar, and other information you authorize), which we will use within the scope of your authorization.

 

You need to understand that phone numbers, emails, login passwords, and frequently used device information are personal sensitive information. We collect such information based on product functionality and legal requirements. You can refuse to provide it, but you may not be able to access relevant services, which will not affect the normal use of other functions and services. If you only need to use basic services like information browsing and search, you do not need to register as a user and provide the above information.

 

When you use a smart pen, we will collect your location information, which is limited to the country/region where you connect the service, and is mainly used for internal app smart pen search without requiring location permissions to be turned on.

 

To use third-party (such as WeChat, FACEBOOK) login and social sharing functions, we need to access the installed applications on your phone.

 

When you use the search function, we will collect keywords, time, unique device identifiers, and operation information for search terms, which are used to ensure the normal operation of our services and provide a better user experience.

 

When you use the follow feature, we will collect your device's unique identifier and operation information, which are used to ensure the normal operation of our services and provide a better user experience.

 

When you change your user avatar, we will collect your avatar photo information.

 

When you use the chat function, we will collect chat messages, including but not limited to files, pictures, voice messages, and texts.

 

When you use the smart pen to write, we will collect note data, which is convenient for you to view on the APP.

 

When you interact with the client, we may collect usage data during the interaction process, which is saved as network logs. The logs collected include but are not limited to IP address, browser type, language used, date and time of visit, hardware and software feature information, and record of requests made.

 

When you use QUILLINK APP network services or visit Zhuni Yunji platform web pages, we receive and record information from your browser and computer, including but not limited to your IP address, browser type, language used, date and time of visit, hardware and software feature information, and webpage record data.

 

Our products are developed based on DCloud uni-app(5+ App/Wap2App), which requires collecting your unique device identifier (IMEI/android ID/DEVICE_ID/IDFA, SIM card IMSI information) during the application run to provide statistical analysis services and to improve performance and user experience through application startup data and exception error log analysis. To enhance the security of the services provided by us and our partners, protect your personal and property safety from infringement, better prevent risks such as phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, network attacks, and network intrusions, accurately identify violations of laws and regulations or QUILLINK APP related agreements, we may collect, use, or integrate your account information, device information, log information, and information authorized by you or shared with us by our affiliated units and partners to comprehensively judge your account risk, verify identity, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary analysis and disposal measures in accordance with the law.

 

You understand and agree that some individual services may require you to enable specific access permissions on your device to achieve the collection and use of information involved, thereby providing you with services, optimizing our services, and ensuring your account security. For example:

- We may request notification permissions for sending IM chat messages;

- We may request recording and microphone permissions for IM voice and video calls;

- We may request camera and album permissions for uploading and modifying user avatars;

- We may request call permissions for user registration and login;

- We may request location permissions for the realization of "smart pen search" function. If you refuse to provide geographical location messages, it will affect the normal implementation of the smart pen search function;

- We may request Bluetooth permissions for the realization of "Bluetooth device connection for smart pen writing" function. If you refuse to provide Bluetooth permissions, it will affect the normal implementation of the smart pen writing function;

- We may request media library read-write permissions for saving handwriting data locally for sharing with friends (picture sharing, document sharing, PDF sharing, etc.) or for sending local files, pictures, videos, etc. via IM;

 

All these permissions will not be defaulted or forced to turn on. We will apply for them in relevant scenarios. When you need to close these functions, most mobile devices support this requirement. For specific methods, please refer to or contact your mobile device's service provider or manufacturer. Please note that enabling any permission represents your authorization for us to collect and use the corresponding information to provide you with the service. Once you close any permission, it means you have revoked your authorization, and we will no longer collect or use the corresponding information based on the permission and cannot provide you with the service corresponding to that permission. However, your decision to close the permission does not affect the information collection and use based on your authorization before that.

 

Exceptions to Consent for Authorization

According to relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, the following circumstances do not require your authorization for collection and use of your personal information:

- Directly related to national security and defense security;

- Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;

According to "Information Security Technology Personal Information Security Standards" (GB/T 35273 2020), personal information refers to various information recorded electronically or otherwise that can identify a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a specific natural person alone or in combination with other information. Sale or Merger

If QUILLINK undergoes business transformations such as mergers, acquisitions by another company, or sale of all or part of its assets, then for our legitimate interests, we may share all your information (including personal information) with any interested buyers and subsequent organizations. If we know that a significant change in QUILLINK's privacy practices will occur due to business transitions, we will notify you and other users before transferring your personal information. During your use of QUILLINK APP services, to facilitate your management of your information and ensure your rights such as account cancellation, we provide corresponding operation settings on the client in accordance with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, and standards. Accessing Your Information

Log in to the QUILLINK APP mobile client; you can click My to view personal information such as avatar, username, friend count, followers count, fans count, etc.

User Account Management

Log in to the QUILLINK APP mobile client; enter Settings under My to change the login password; click on the head avatar to modify the user name and personal avatar.

Logout

In the logged-in state, select My at the bottom right corner of the client and click the Logout button to log out.

Account Cancellation

Log in to the QUILLINK APP mobile client; click About Us on the My page; in the About Us interface, click Cancel Account to cancel the account.

To provide you with a more convenient account cancellation method, we will continuously optimize our products and announce it through page announcements. After account cancellation success, we will stop providing you with products or services and delete your personal information according to your requirements (except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations). After successful cancellation of the account, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it as soon as possible according to legal requirements (but as provided by laws and regulations or other regulatory requirements except as specified in "Cybersecurity Law", relevant network logs shall be retained for no less than six months).

Device Permission Settings

We need you to enable notification, recording, camera, album, media library, call, location, Bluetooth access permissions when providing services. You can also turn off some or all permissions at any time in the [Settings] function of the device to refuse us from collecting your corresponding personal information.
